Katie First class

Tried taking some pics of the chicks today while dying eggs with the kids. (Dye, chicks, kids, while trying to improve my photography skills, probably wasn't but the best combination. :) But, I thought this one demonstrated the subject off center, and also I was trying to focus the chicks gaze right where the "thirds" lines would cross.

  1. Katie, Love the way the chick is looking at the camera. He is in front and the eggs are in the background - adds depth to the photo. Good placement on the chick. He is off-center and the eggs create balance. Sounds like the photo /egg dyeing session was a success. I love that you are thinking about photography outside of class time!

  2. I love the eggs in the background they do add depth. Chick is cute. Makes me wander what she is looking at. Nice framing for thirds. I want to see more.
